4. 5 White Hat Link Building Tactics for Amazon Affiliate Websites

http://www.nichepursuits.com/5-white-hat-link-building-tactics/’

3. Find a profitable niche for only $7?

The fact is, 95% of website owners choose the wrong niche and end up quitting because their niche doesn’t make any money.

…and tons of people are panicking over how niche selection is only getting harder with more and more people building Amazon affiliate websites now.

Here’s a sampling of what this module covered…

  • The 3 simple techniques that even a complete newbie with no prior knowledge of affiliate marketing can use to find profitable niches instantly
  • The ONLY 4 types of keywords you need to know in 2016 (And why your chances for success are practically zero if you don’t understand these 4 different types)
  • Why you’ll never find a profitable niche unless you do this one thing
  • The best defense against picking an unprofitable niche is to follow this proven “checklist”(ignore the simple factors on this checklist and you’re virtually guaranteed to not make a single dime, no matter how hard you work)
  • How to use my little-known “market research” document to immediately compare multiple markets until you’re left with “Golden Geese” and nothing else
  • How I use 9 “unordinary” criterions to find low competition keywords and how you can do the same – even if you’re completely clueless when it comes to performing keyword research
  • Complete access to my never before seen Keyword Research document (if it wasn’t for this easy to follow document, I would have never been able to see all the ‘profitable’ niches hiding right under my nose)

…and so much more.

Frequently Asked Questions

1. Is this niche selection module just relevant for building Amazon affiliate sites?

Yes. The core focus of this course is to teach you how to select profitable and untapped niches for Amazon affiliate sites. But the knowledge you gain can be used to find niches for all types of different purposes.

2. Why $7?

If you’re thinking $7 is too cheap and there has to be a catch…here are three reasons to put your mind at ease:

  • $7 puts this information within the reach of everyone…from the beginner to the seasoned professional looking to find profitable niches.
  • It separates the action takers from the talkers. I have a proven track record of success and I only want to share this information with people who are serious about building profitable and successful niches, and in my experience charging a “fair price” gets rid of 99% of the “talkers.”
  • Normally this Niche Selection System sells for $47, but the only reason you can get it for $7 (85% off) is because it’s our Black Friday special
I believe that once you experience this niche selection module, you’ll want more and maybe…just maybe…you’ll come back, buy more and possibly even upgrade to the full AMZ Affiliate Bootcamp where you get access to all the steps you need to master in order to create a profitable website.

But that’s it…

There’s no shenanigans or “hidden trials” buried in the fine print.

What you see is what you get. No games.

3. What exactly do I get inside the niche selection module?

You’ll get access to the niche selection module with over 10 high quality lessons covering everything you need to know to successfully find profitable and untapped niches from scratch.

There are worksheets, checklists and workbooks for each and every lesson you learn.

And we’ll also give you step-by-step action plans at each and every step to eliminate all confusion and guesswork – making the process easy and simple.

4. What if I’m a complete newbie and I have no experience choosing profitable niches. Can I still succeed with this?
Of course.

This module was created with you in mind. It breaks down complicated processes into bite-sized steps…making it very easy to master…even if you’ve never selected niches before.

5. Do you offer any support?
Yes. Just send an email to support@huyngovanz.xyzamzaffiliatebootcamp.com and we’ll get in touch within 24 hours.

6. How long will it take to get access to this guide?
Immediate. Your login and access information will be sent to the email address you provide, and there will be a letter on the next page that explains how you can access the niche selection module.

7. What’s the refund policy?
We do have a 30 day refund policy but if you’re not 100% sure this is something you are ready to commit to then I wouldn’t recommend joining. Building a successful Amazon affiliate website takes a serious investment of time and focus so unless you know this is for you right now, it’s probably best to hold off on purchasing.

2. 7 Reasons Why Your Website Is Not Ranking In The Search Results

Wondering why your site isn’t ranking in Google despite all your efforts?

Well, you’ve come to the right place.

In this article, I’ll be sharing with you the 7 most common reasons why your site is hardly ranking (and what you can do to fix it).

Let’s get started!

1. Your Website Is Not Indexed in Google

This should be pretty obvious, right? If your website is not indexed, there’s no way it’ll appear in Google’s search results.

There are 3 main reasons why this might happen:

Reason #1 You de-indexed your website by mistake – I know it sounds silly, but this actually happened to me a few times before. So, check your Reading settings to make sure you’re not accidentally blocking search engines from indexing your website.

Yoast SEO has the ability to put a “no-index” tag on your articles, too. Make sure it’s set to “index”

Reason #2. Google hasn’t crawled into your website yet – This is pretty common with new sites, particularly those with no consistent publishing schedule. It really takes time for the Google bots to come to your site and index your articles, so there’s nothing to worry about.

If you want, you can actually make the process faster by submitting your sitemap via Google Webmaster Tools or by sharing your articles across different social media networks.

Reason #3. You accidentally built your site on a penalized or de-indexed expired domain – If you are thinking of using an expired domain to start a new website, then make sure you study its history carefully before buying. This is to make sure it wasn’t penalized or de-indexed before.

2. Your Target Keywords Are Too Competitive

This is pretty common among beginners who always want to target keywords with the most amount of search volume possible.

While there’s nothing wrong with targeting competitive keywords, it’d be better if you pick the right battle and select keywords that you can feasibly rank for with your current domain authority and available resources (money / time / skill set).

For example, if you’re just starting out with almost no money or experience, then it’d be crazy to aim for the most competitive keywords.

Instead, try to start small and pick easier keywords to go after first. After this, you can slowly expand and target more competitive keywords as your website grows.

3. Your Website Is New

If your website is only a few weeks old and you haven’t created much content or done any link building, then I forbid you to ask why your website isn’t ranking yet.

Because it simply CAN’T.

Let me tell you this once again:

In order for your website to rank high in the search results, you only need 2 things:

  1. High-quality content
  2. Powerful backlinks

That’s it.

That’s the “secret” formula.

Also, there seems to be a waiting period where fresh websites are held in lower results. But don’t worry – this is just the time it takes Google to finish monitoring websites to make sure they’re legit.

People call this the Google Sandbox.

Generally, it could last anywhere between 3 to 6 months. But, based on my experience, it really varies from niche to niche. More competitive niches tend to have a longer wait period.

For example, I recently started a new site 3 weeks ago in a much less crowded niche. It’s currently ranking on page 2 and 3 for most of the targeted keywords despite the very little content and zero backlinks it has.

4. Your Content Is Simply Lacking In Quality

Most people mistake “long content” with “high-quality content”.

Although it’s true that longer content usually performs better, a 2000-word piece full of filler words won’t help you much when it comes to ranking high in the search results.

So, what should you do?

Look at the top 3 competitors in the search results for your target keywords. After studying your competitors, try to be better or at least match their content quality in terms of length, depth and on-page optimization.

5. Your Website Doesn’t Have Enough High-Quality Backlinks

The number of backlinks you have is still the most important ranking factor.

So, before complaining about your site not ranking anywhere, honestly ask yourself if you have put enough effort in building a strong backlink profile for your site.

Also, you need to remember that not all backlinks are created equal.

What you should focus on is how you can start acquiring legitimate editorial backlinks from relevant authoritative websites in your industry.

These are several methods that can help you do this effectively. Some of my favorites include:

  • Blog Commenting
  • Top Experts
  • Guest Posting
  • Epic Content
  • Guestographics

Not sure how to leverage these methods to meet your goals?

Then check out my flagship, AMZ Affiliate Bootcamp program where I reveal how these methods work using detailed step-by-step video lessons.

6. Your Website is Not Well Optimized for SEO

On-page optimization is a big topic and it can get a bit complicated, particularly if you dig deep into all its technical aspects.

Fortunately, our friend at Supremacy SEO has simplified the process with his 80/20 Guide to On-page SEO.

Just to recap, here’s what you should focus on:

  • Create a logical website silo structure (Learn more)
  • Make your site load as fast as possible.
  • Install Yoast SEO plugin to optimize your title tags and descriptions.
  • Publish unique and engaging content with rich media embedded.
  • Follow an on-page SEO checklist to optimize every article.

Before you go and stuff your content with every keyword available, keep in mind that over-optimizing your site isn’t a good thing. In fact, it can potentially harm your ranking. So, follow the guidance above carefully and try not to make your on-site practice look unnatural.

7. Your Website Doesn’t Have A Good User Experience

Usability and user experience are very important, as Google’s ultimate goal is to give its users the best possible results.

You can track user experience and usability by measuring key metrics like time on site, bounce rate, and return rate.

If these numbers are low, that means you really need to work hard on improving your site.

I recently experienced this firsthand when I tested a very aggressive popup strategy on one of my websites.

In the graphic below, you can see that my traffic immediately dropped after the aggressive popups went live. The traffic went right back up after I removed the popups.

Here’s another example from our friend Luqman, where he was able to increase his ranking by improving time on site:

Conclusion

These are the top 7 reasons why your website is not ranking high in the search results.

I know it can be quite discouraging to see this, but, by using the few simple solutions we covered in this article, you would be able to turn it around.

What’s your best tip to get higher ranking in the SERPs?

1. AMA with Lam Nguyen, Successful Amazon Affiliate and Authority Website Builder

Hello Lam,

1.What is your best link building strategy?

2.How many years before your earn your 1st money online.

3.do you have website where you share your journey?

Thanks!

1. My most effective link building strategies are guest posting, sponsored post, skyscraper and private blog network (still using for some of my niche sites)
2. I spent six months without making any penny. In 7th month, I got my first $100 :p
3. Yeah I have one, but it’s a Vietnamese blog so I won’t share it here.

First of all, thanks for coming to this 1st AMA Lam. Here are the first 3 questions to get this started

1) How did you get started building niche and affiliate websites?

2) What were the biggest mistakes (top 3) you made during your years of doing online business?

3) What’s your daily routine like?

Lam Nguyen – September 6, 2016
Thanks for having me on CloudLiving Tung. So proud to be here!

1. It’s a long story. I jumped in the website building industry 4 years ago when you told me about affiliate marketing. At this time, I was stupid enough to create a website called “WhatIsAnAffiliateMarketing.com” and used Article Builder to generate content for that website.

Of course, my site is a bunch of crap. But I learned a lot after my first failure such as how to buy a domain name, how to install WordPress).

After that, I started to buy some online course to learn a basic about affiliate marketing. At that time, we didn’t have any amazing course like AMZ Affiliate Bootcamp. All I had are some basic knowledge, passion and the determination. I had to try, fail, try again, fail, try again…

My first success story was a website which promoted a new product called InstaBuilder. That website made me over $2,000 – a huge money for me at that time.

A few months later, I heard about Amazon Associates. Then I tried, fail, tried, fail and so on. I built a successful niche site about double stroller which made $500 a month. It’s my first success with Amazon Associates.

2. My biggest mistake was jumped in too much area without focusing on anything. I lost a lot of money just because I was distracted.

The second: Make money without fun. I tried Teespring, CPA in the past. I made some decent money with those niches, but I didn’t enjoy it. I quit after few months and I promised that I will never do it again.

The third: System. I just understood the power of system last year. With my powerful system and my great employee, I can scale my affiliate websites to multiple 6 figures assets. Without them, I think I only have 1 – 2 five figures websites.

3. Morning: Have breakfast. Drink a cup of coffee while reading a book. Brainstorming new ideas for my project. Working with my team.
Afternoon: Gym time! Or play some billiard games with my friends.
Evening: Hangout with my friends or play some board games with my employee. Read book and go to bed 🙂

Thanks for setting this up Tung, excellent idea!

Hi Lam, just a few question if you don’t mind answering…

1) Which WordPress theme would you recommend for a Amazon affiliate website?

2) What are your top 3 WordPress plugins and why?

3) If you started of with only $1000 and was building a new Amazon affiliate website where would you spend this money?

Thanks!

1. Now I’m using Genesis and ThriveTheme for my websites. Highly recommended!
2. Thrive Visual Editor, WP Rocket and Akismet. I can’t live without those plugins.
3. For first 3 months, spend $300 for content, $100 – $150 for link building and $50 – $70 for other expenses such as tool subscription. For next 3 months, spend $50 – $100 for content, $400 for link building and the rest for other expenses. You should focus on link building for just 1 – 2 pages to achieve the best results. => $400 for content, $600 for link building

What are the various ways in which my YouTube videos can be promoted in order to get more traffic on my website?

Also, does it count as spam if I write an article on my website and share it on 20+ Facebook groups all at once? I gain 500+ unique traffic from it every time

1. Sorry, I don’t do YouTube marketing so I can’t answer your question.
2. Just make sure that you are giving value and you will be fine. I used to do that in the past.

I have this chance so I’m going to ask some more questions to get as much knowledge as possible. Sorry in advance.

1. Is guest posting an effective way to get backlinks on a tech-based website or are there other better methods?
2. Are roundups a good idea when you are just starting off and only have 5 or so articles on your website?
3. In your experience, which kind of articles are more appealing: the ones with a formal and straightforward approach or the ones with some jokes here and there

1. I didn’t try tech-based niche before. You should try some tactics (guest posting, guestographic, skyscraper, etc), analyze the results and pick the best.
2. I recommend you have at least 10 articles on your website before start any link building campaign, include roundups.
3. I’m an informal guy. Prefer some jokes.

Hello
I have some questions too 🙂

1) If you could say something to your former self, when you first started out, what would it be?
2) How long do you work now a day, compared to how long you worked a day to set everything up?
3) What do you like the most about owning websites?

1. “Stop reading and just do it”. A common problem for a newbie is overload information without taking action. I was not an exception :p
2. Nowadays I’m just working 3 – 5 hours per day. But 4 years ago, I was working 12 – 16 hours daily. It’s worth it!
3. When you build websites in the right way, you own assets which will make money for you 24/7. I can travel around the world and still make money 🙂

Andree Right Hand – September 6, 2016
What is the safest strategy to rank a niche site in this time? ( Dont mention guest post or guestographic )

Hi,

For your question, White hat SEO is my answer.

Thanks for doing this Lam! Really appreciate.
What are your views about building an informative site (monetized with Adsense and Amazon affiliate) and not focusing on link building to hit page 1 in Google, but instead, just focus on social media marketing (Pinterest, Twitter, StumbleUpon, Flipboard and FB)
Would such a site that offers valuable and interesting info be a successful one even if it doesn’t hit any top spots in Google?

Hi Enozia,

1. Jon Dykstra is working well on social media instead of Google. I have some success with my local blog by focusing on social media marketing too. You can do that.
2. My local blog is making five figures a month with social media and email list only, not Google.

1. How do you get article written? If you outsource, where?
2. How much do you pay for 100-word?
3. How long is your article which use you usually post to your AMZ site?
4. WHAT KIND OF WEBSITE DO YOU THINK IT WILL LAST FOREVER? (without worrying about getting banned from AMZ, Adsense, etc…

Hi,

1. Now I have a full-time content writing team. You can hire a talent writer in Upworks/OnlineJobs.ph to do the same or just buy content from TextBroker.
2. 1000 – 2500, depends on the topic.
3. An authority website with the various source of income and traffic. You can make money using Amazon Affiliate, Display Ads (Adsense, Media.net), open your e-commerce store and sell your product or write an ebook and sell it. No one can ban you 🙂

Nancy Peden – September 7, 2016
so you are saying you have other affiliations not just amazon??? i am considering legal shield which offer legal protection.it is an mlm so not too happy about that…

Hi Nancy,

Yes I’m making money from various source, not only Amazon.

I have 3 questions:
1. Which is your best SEO strategy at the present?
2. Last year, I took 3 months to SEO a niche site in #1. But everything has changed for this year. How do you think about this issue?
3. Can you share your works management in daily?

Thank you very much.

Hi Tu,

1. My most effective link building strategies are guest posting, sponsored post, skyscraper and private blog network (still using for some of my niche sites)
2. Now, it takes time to rank a site. Instead of focusing on making money as fast as possible, you should focus on building a website with great fundamental (great content, some great links). In 4 – 6 months, you can get out of Google Sandbox and start some aggressive link building campaign to rank your website.
3. I just list all the problems which need to solve daily, then works on them one by one

Hello Lam, I have a question on choosing a niche to build an authority site.

Should I choose Travel niche if I’ve not traveled to any place in the world? I really love it and want to explore it but it’s hard to start a travel blog without real-life experiences, isn’t it? Someone advised me not to pick Travel niche if I’ve not traveled anywhere because visitors will not believe in what I say (I don’t have any pícture of mine to prove that I was traveling).

I want to know your thoughts

Thanks in advance!

Hi Lee,

It’s still fine. I have some successful blogs about cooking although I’m not a chef (I don’t even know how to cook. Just love to eat). Just make sure you’re hiring some talent writers with excellent researching skills.

HI Lam ,

Great to have all major answer from you already.. I would like to have some few only.
1) What you think is the best traffic acquisition method for a new website would be ?
2) If you have to opt in from a Amazon product API site ( where amazon products are only) or Amazon product review website , which one would you recommend or go with ??
3) How Many ads you would recommend on a single post or website to get good rpm or ad revenue from display ads?

Hi Gaurav,

1. I’m a SEO guy so I always focus 100% on Google. But if you want to attract some traction when you start, you should try to promote your website via social media. Facebook and Twitter are great places to start. I got some decent results with Twitter in the past.
2. Amazon product review site, of course!
3. I’m not an expert with display ads, but I have some great results with 3 – 5 ads in a single page.

Hey Lam, thanks for taking the time to answer questions!

1. Do you ever feel like your website at some point reach a size where there is no more need to do link building? You get enough natural links and just focus on interesting content for your readers to maintain income?
2. How long did it take you to earn your first 1000 USD a month online?
3. What makes you decide when its time to sell a website? How you judge if its not worth investing more time in it?

Hi Alex,

1. I don’t think so. Whenever I start a link building campaign, my revenue goes up. Balance your budget for content and link building is important.
2. One year with Paid To Upload – 5 years ago
3. When I think I can’t optimize that website anymore, so get 20 – 30 months income is great so I can invest them in a new asset which has more potential to optimize.

Could I ask you that how can you rank best + kw, kw + review when outreach by guest post?
Do you put anchor text best + kw, kw + review on the article guest post or just link to your “how to, tip/trick” article and from that “how to, tip/trick” article you link to buying guide article?
Thanks

Hi NuVu,

You don’t need to use anchor text exact match keyword (best + keyword, keyword + reviews) in the guest posting article. Just link to your affiliate post naturally. It’s more efficient way than a link from an informative article to your affiliate post.

HI Lam,

I am learning programming language haskell.
I wish to create a blog and eventually a course on haskell.

Could you please suggest tips for me to get attention online ?

Hi Karan,

Just open a new blog and start to sharing some information about Haskell. Share your article with other people in social media. Get rank your article in Google. I went that way when I start my local blog.

Hi Lam.

I’m interested to know how you manage your content writing team.
1. How many writer do you have?
2. How you get the right writer for your site.
3. Is your writer manage your content outline also?
4. Can i know the rate of your writer?

Hi LLQ,

1. For now, I have 2 content writers and 1 editor.
2. Post a job in Upwork/Onlinejobs.ph, read candidate’s sample articles, test their skills, give them a trial week.
3. No, I’ll send them my guideline. You need to send them a detailed guideline so you can maintain the highest quality of your articles.
4. $800/month for each.

Thank Lam and Tung for this wonderful AMA. I am pretty sure a lot of newbies like I am will learn from you guys truckloads!
1. How do you monetize your local online properties right now (Vietnamese sites)? I get stuck with that.
2. What are your costly mistakes on your journey that you wish other newbies won’t replicate them?
3. How do you learn your way to making money online? From courses (which? Are courses reliable?); from elsewhere (please specify)

Hi,

1. I create and sell my own products (My online course).
2. Check this comment: http://www.cloudliving.com/amas/lam-nguyen/#comment-44901
3. Just reading a lot of blogs such as CloudLiving, AuthorityWebsiteIncome. You can learn a lot of valuable knowledge from them.

Hello Lam,

Thank you for doing this AMA, you and Tung are an inspiration.
1. How many employees do you have? And what are their role? How many sites they handle? How much do you pay them?
2. How is your system? Do you just give the main idea then someone will write, post and promote?
3. Do you do one site at a time? Or do many at the same time then outsource?

Hi Mary,

1. My content machine has 2 content writers, 1 editors, 2 content posters and 1 managers. My link building machine has 1 outreach manager and 1 link prospector. Their salary is around $300 – $800.
2. My manager will research keywords and place a new order to my writers. They will write articles and send them to my editor. She will check, proofread and edit those articles and send it to my content posters. She will post that article to my website and give my manager the link. He will report that link to me via Google Spreadsheet.
3. I have multiple sites. If you have a solid system, you can scale it as much as you want.

Hi Lam,

Do you like your niche site?
How to work on a niche every day?
You do a task to finish or switch multi task when you boring?
I have niche site about woodworking tools but I don’t like woodworking, can you give me a suggestion?.

Hi Phi,

1. Some sites I like, I’ll check their ranking every day. Some sites I don’t :p
2. Sit, turn on your laptop, read some articles in CloudLiving and other blogs to get some motivation. Then, go to work.
3. I have a to-do list every day and solve them one by one.
4. You don’t need to like woodworking. You should focus on how to promote it (marketing!) and leave the content writing task to writers.

1. How do you select a niche for amazon affiliation?
2. do you use PBN? is PBN safe for amazon niche site?
3. how do you do SEO for your niche sites? Can you please tell us the step by step SEO formula?
4. How do you take decision about selecting niche?
5. How much have I to invest as a newbie?

Thanks in advance for all of the answers.

Hi Maidul,

1. Go to Amazon and check their subcategories. You can find out a lot of niches. Also, check StumbleUpOn’s interest – great resource.
2. Yes, but I only use it for my niche sites. It’s not safe, but the reward is better than the risk.
3. White hat SEO. Check Tung’s articles in CloudLiving. Also, read AuthorityHacker and Backlinko.
4. Actually, when I was selecting a niche, I always use my experience. You can just pick one and build a website, don’t wait for a perfect niche.
5. Around $1k – $1.5k

Hi thanks for offering doing this. Its really appreciated. Here are my questions:
1) What is your criteria for selecting a winning keyword
2) What markets are really attractive at the moment for Amazon niche sites
3) Do you have a price point and volume point for product keywords (Ex – only market products over $100, only volume over 1000)

Hi Charmaine,

1. Low KC (Use LongTailPro), top 5 (from top 1->5) have low Page Authority and low number of backlinks. If their title does not focus on that keyword and their content is crap, go ahead!
2. A lot. No market is saturated I think.
3. Price > $50. Volume search > 500 is a great start.

I hope you are doing great. Well could you please answer my queries as follows?

– What have you got so far from your online earnings (Car, home, investment) I know it’s a bit off topic but would appreciate that.
– How do you keep yourself enthusiastic all the time?
– What’s the worst situation you found ever in your online career?

Hi Josh,

1. I got all :p I don’t want to go too specific.
2. Travel as much as possible. Go to the gym. Setup great goal, achieve it and setup the next.
3. In September 2014, 80% of my sites was penalized by big G. Very frustrated :p

I’m facing a serious issue, most of the keywords are of same kind, because of targeting them on different pages I’m facing keyword cannibalization issues, I’ve tried almost everything, what should I do to rank the target page correctly? Any pro tip?

Hi Hammad,

Do you have any example? If you just pick one keyword for one page, no way you can rank the wrong page. What’s about your site age?

Like I’m targeting best toilets on homepage and best camping toilets on inner page and google is ranking that inner page for both of these keywords and ranking homepage nowhere, and mi site’s age is 3.5 months now!

Push some backlinks and internal links to your inner page. Your site is new so the ranking is not stable. Don’t worry

Hi Lam,
I have a few questions, but not on Amazon affiliates.
1. I am interested in travelling, sightseeing, vacation etc, so I am planning to start a website (affiliates) on luxury travel/vacation. As a first step, in order to promote the website, what would be the cheapest (low cost) way to do it ? Ranking first in Google is expensive for a starter. Please suggest based on what you used at your initial stage ….
2. How did you come up with names for the niche websites ? Are there any online tools you used to help you create unique name for the niche websites ?
3. How do you come up with logos for the niche sites you created ?

Hi Isaac,

1. For your question, check this comment: http://www.cloudliving.com/amas/lam-nguyen/#comment-44978
2. NameMesh is a great tool to generate domain name. I use it all the time.
3. I have a designer for that task. You can go to Fiverr to buy one.

Hello, I saw you answer other guy’s question that you will not use exact match anchor like best kw or kw review! So I understand that you mean you will use like “headphone for laptop” is a anchor text with word “best” surrounding, right? Or are there any other way do you use? TIA

Hi Tia,

Surrounding text is just one way to create the relevancy for your paragraph (which have your link inside). If you have a great article which can link to your article naturally, it’s not necessary. Just do it in a natural way and Google will understand.

=> Surrounding text best và review cũng là 1 cách đi link trong 1 đoạn văn. Còn lại có thể đi link 1 cách tự nhiên trong ngữ cảnh phù hợp là ok

2) Did you pay for any books or courses in particular that you found very beneficial.
3) Do you do any SEO for clients?

Hi Ronan,

1. The best resource is Google. The second: CloudLiving, Authority Hacker and others blog about authority site building
2. Authority Hacker Pro is one of the best course I have ever paid. I’m still a member of AHP.
3. No I don’t do client SEO.

Hello Lam,
I’ve few questions, please answer. And I am sorry my english is not so good.

Intro: I’ve created a niche site December 2015 on amazon affiliate. I’ve added 30+ content in first two months. Now total content is 50+. I’ve added 25 PBN links, few guest post from high authority blogs. I got first sell in May 2016. I’ve changed my hosting in July 2016 because of old hosting loading time was high and added a SSL. After then my main keyword position was fall from 7 to 250+. Then I’ve changed my niche website URL in my PBN posts from http:// to https:// and created few more high authority backlinks. Now my main keyword position is 7 in the first page of google. But its dancing. Sometimes I am seeing the position is 6 and to the next day I am seeing its position 50+. So I am disappointed with it.

Getting sells regular but not much. Current earning is around $100+ only. Now my questions are:

1. What is the best solution for me?
2. How can I increase my sell?
3. How can I steady my keyword position?
4. My current conversion rate is 8.50%
5. My product price is $50-$250 and main keyword SV 5400, keyword is [Best + Product Name]

Please give me suggestion that I can use to increase my keyword position and sells. Thanks in advance.

Hi Mina,

1. I think you should keep starting some more white hat link building campaign. Your ranking will be more steady if you have more authoritative backlinks. Don’t depend on PBN.
2. Improve your ranking. Create some more pages which target keywords with low competition. Push some internal links to them.
3. Keep building white hat links.
4. Your CR is great.

Hi Lam

I have few questions.

1, I have a micro niche site and it’s age just 3 months. if I have 500$ budget for link building. where should I spend that money?

Do you have any guest post and PBN services for recommend

Hi Sajal,

You should spend $150/month for guest posting. If you do it right, you will have 7 – 10 links per month. It’s a great start. Then, you can try some advanced link building tactics such as guestographic, skyscraper. I don’t recommend you to use PBN 🙂

Mina Akter – September 7, 2016
$150/month is not so much for guest posting. Will you please suggest any guest post provider within this budget? Thanks.

If you do it yourself, you can get a guest post with $10 – $15. $150 is big enough.

Mina Akter – September 7, 2016
Do you do guest post yourself? My English is not so good, that’s why I like to buy guest post and searching a provider to doing guest posting by out reaching. Do you know anyone?

Hi Lam,

My questions:
1. How do you choose your Amazon Affiliate products. With any software?
2. You probably buy PBN’s? At which provider?
3. What is your typical article length? Price for this article is how much?

Hi Lze,

1. I just picked it manually. You can check the number of reviews, rating, best seller rank and price then pick the best.
2. I have built it myself
3. 1000 – 2500. Around $20/article.

Hi Lam! I’ve got a couple of questions:

1. Would you recommend a newbie to buy an aged domain and why?
2.In the case of a brand new domain does having a keyword in the title give an advantage against competitors and why?

Hi Jill,

1. No, because you may buy a penalized domain. If you don’t have a good checking skills, you shouldn’t.
2. Don’t use a domain which has keyword in its name. Google don’t love it anymore.

Hi Lam,

1. Considering what you know now, how long would it take you to build a $5k monthly income generating website FROM SCRATCH from amazon affiliate websites?
2. How long do you think it would take someone without your knowledge and skills to do the same from amazon affiliate websites?
3. What are the best advices you could give for someone on no 2 above to get to where you are, and how long do you think it would take?

Hi Jimmy,

1. 1.5 – 2 years
2. 2 years
3. Stop reading and taking action. Build your site. To succeed twice as fast, fail twice as much. It took me 4 years to be there :p

Hi Lam , I got a question …
How do you determine whether a given niche is profitable in the long run ?
Is “Home remedies for ___” Or ” Natural cures for ____ ( eg: hair-loss ) a good niche to get into ?

What is your take on the audience for such a niche ? Will they be information seekers or buyers OR a mix of both ?

Hi Jeff,

Those keywords are good for some info products in Clickbank. People who search those keywords are looking for information, so they are potential buyer for an ebook 😉

Lam, as you said to Ram, Focus on Link Building, My question is

what is your Link building strategy ? Outreach, Broken links or Guest Posting or buying permanent links ? Which one is very effective ?

Do you have some other effective method, which can be shared here ?

Hi Rehman,

For your question, check this comment: http://www.cloudliving.com/amas/lam-nguyen/#comment-44898

Rehman – September 7, 2016
Thanks, Lam, Totally agree, Guest posting is one of the best option for LB. Do you think,PBN is Safe? If, Yes, Can you share some TIPS ?

It’s not safe. But the reward is great. Just make sure that you are using premium hosting such as Hostgator for your PBN.

Hello Lam,
1. Do you use directory submission and forum profile for link buildings?
2. How do you make your first backlinks for authority sites.
3. Does PBN affect my long term authority site ranking?

Hi Sakil,

1. No I don’t. I just submit my site to some high-quality directories such as AllTop, Dmoz.
2. Guest posting.
3. If you mix your PBN with 70 – 80% white hat links, it’s harder to detect your PBN. But the risk is still there. Be careful.

Hi Lam,

I’m your disciple in NSST K23. I guess you noticed me 😀
My question:
1. My site is at the 5th-month age. Is it okay if I want to build 20+ links with white hat guest post method?
2. Why do I have to slow down my link building progress in the first 6 months? (Not about Google Sandbox) Is it just due to the PBN-era?
I have read a story about Luqman here and he started link building simultaneously built his site from scratch, after 4 months he got out of Sandbox and boost to the roof (because of the links he built in the very beginning).

Hi Ly,

1. Yeah it’s fine.
2. It’s just not natural. If you are doing guest posting only, I suggest you slow down your link building speed. If you are doing other more-white-hat methods such as skyscraper, scholarship, it’s fine.

Remember, Google is not the same with all people. Luqman is successful in 4 months does not mean that you can’t be penalized by Google if you do the same.

Hi Lam Nguyen, thank you for doing this. I just have one question – when you build a team and train them (eg. how to do keyword research), how do you train them in a way where they won’t take the information/training and just go and do their own website? Is there anything I have to keep in mind when training them? Thank you.
Hi Samantha,

1. I start to build a team when I have a steady and big enough income, I just want to reduce my workload and invest my time in brainstorming new ideas for my project.
2. I separate my team into 2 parts: Content Machine and Link Building Machine. But if anyone wants to build their own website, I’ll help them.

Hello, Lam
I followed your blog lamnguyenz for a long time and I’m fan of you and Tung Tran. But I can’t afford to join your courses.
I’m writing a product list article (5 best xxx) but wondering should I write a long post article (4000-5000 words) including 700 words review per each product, or devide it into short reviews, and in the article are only unique selling propositions (about 150-200 words) of each product?
Thanks for your help

Hi Chau,

I prefer 2500 – 3000 words article with short reviews. You always can write detailed articles later.

Hi Lam,

1. How do you build your PBN’s?
2. What are paid tools you are using?
3. How do you see Amazon FBA sites for your next move? As a non-American (I suppose) do you see it as a possibility at all? Or are there just troubles when doing this from abroad?

Hi Lze,

1. It’s a big question. There are a lot of great article about this (from AuthorityWebsiteIncome, DiggityMarketing, etc.). Read them.
2. Ahrefs, Optimizely, Serpfox.
3. It’s a great industry which I think I’ll invest my time in. A lot of my friends are doing it – all of them are non-American.

Hi Lam,

One more question (different thread).
You have mentioned that Low KC (Use LongTailPro), top 5 have low Page Authority and low number of backlinks are the corner stone of good keyword.
Can you kindly try to put figures to this? i.e. Low KD mean <Z, low page authority < X, low # of backlink < Y …?

Hi David,

1. Low KC meaning KC < 30. But if you can get one <25, it’s perfect.
2. Low PA meaning PA <30.
3. Low # of backlink meaning number of referring domain (use Ahrefs) < 20.

Hi Lam,

What are working examples for scholarship links? Are they only scholarships for people writing articles? Aren’t they pretty costly?

Hi Lze,

About scholarship links, you can check Luqman article here: http://nichepie.com/amazon-affiliate-site/

If you offer $1,000 and get 20 – 30 edu links, it only cost $30 – $50/edu link. Not too expensive I think

Hi,
1. Which host providers do(and do not) you recommend for amazon aff sites?
(and Which area do you mainly target with your amazon aff sites?)
2. Do you use CDN? (If yes any advice about it ?
3. In case of creating a new site from scrach do you create content first then buy a domain name/host and launch or what is the recommended order of steps?

Hi Peter,

1. Traffic Planet Hosting. Highly recommended! Please don’t use Godaddy hosting.
2. Yep. I’m using KeyCDN. It’s working perfectly. You should use WP Rocket to integrate CDN, very easy way to do it.
3. Research Niche -> Research Keywords -> Buy a domain name and install WordPress -> Order and posting content -> Start some link building campaign.
